Mirror addresses, clones and blocked access explained

"Spassino mirror" and "Spassino new link" are common searches, so this page answers them plainly. It explains what mirrors are, why operators run them, how criminals imitate them, and what a blocked casino address means in Slovenia. What a mirror actually is

A mirror, or alternate domain, is the same casino reachable at another web address. You log in with the same username, see the same balance and play the same games, because everything runs on the operator's infrastructure. There are ordinary reasons for mirrors: recovering from an outage, moving to a new domain, separating language versions, or keeping a site reachable where the main address is not.

That last reason is the sensitive one, and in Slovenia it has a specific legal meaning.

Why a block in Slovenia is a legal signal

Under the Slovenian Gaming Act (Zakon o igrah na srečo, ZIS), organising games of chance is an exclusive right of the state, exercised by concession holders authorised by the Government. The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) supervises the sector. FURS prohibits organising games without a concession, and a court can order an internet provider to restrict access to such a site.

So if a casino page will not open from a Slovenian connection and you see a restriction notice instead, that is not a technical fault waiting for a workaround. It tells you the provider holds no Slovenian concession. Hunting for a mirror or switching on a VPN in that situation means knowingly circumventing a court order. We do not support that — and it frequently breaks the operator's own terms, which forbid disguising your location and can end with a closed account and frozen balance.

Clones: the real danger behind "new link" searches

Wherever people look for a fresh casino address, scammers are waiting. A clone looks like a real casino, but its only purpose is to collect your login, card details or one-time codes. A deposit made there goes nowhere, and the money is rarely recoverable.

Safe habits

• Use only addresses the operator publishes through its own verified channels, such as your account area or official emails you signed up for.
• Save the genuine address as a bookmark or home-screen icon instead of reaching the site through ads or search results.
• Turn on two-factor authentication where available.
• If you typed a password into a suspicious page, change it everywhere you used it, and call your bank if you entered card details.

When the real issue is the gambling, not the address
