Registering at Spassino: a careful walkthrough
Filling in a casino sign-up form takes a few minutes. Living with the account afterwards — the verification, the withdrawals, the limits you did or did not set — takes much longer. This guide covers the part most sign-up pages skip: what to check before the form, what the operator will probably ask you to prove, and which settings are worth changing before you ever deposit. We are an independent information site, not the operator, and we cannot open accounts for anyone.
Start with the law where you live
Online gambling rules are national. This site is written with Slovenia in mind, so here is the Slovenian picture: under the Gaming Act (Zakon o igrah na srečo, ZIS), organising games of chance is an exclusive right of the state. Games are run by concession holders authorised by the Government, and the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) supervises the sector. FURS advises people to check whether a website is legal in Slovenia before playing. Running games without a concession is prohibited, and a court can order an internet provider to restrict access to such a site.
At the time of writing we could not confirm Spassino as a Slovenian concession holder — the list is public, check it yourself on the Ministry of Finance pages about games of chance (gov.si). A foreign licence shown in a casino footer is not the same thing as a Slovenian concession. If you live in another country, look up your own national regulator before registering. Our responsible gambling page explains why this matters beyond paperwork.
The sign-up form, step by step
Casino registration forms follow a familiar pattern. The outline below is generic — Spassino's exact fields and order may differ, so read each screen before you confirm it.
- Email and password. Pick an address you will keep, since password resets and account notices arrive there. Use a long, unique password that you do not use for your email or online banking.
- Personal details. Full name, date of birth, address and phone number. Enter them exactly as they appear on your documents; a typo now can hold up a payout later.
- Currency. If a currency choice is offered, choose the one your bank account uses. For readers in Slovenia that is the euro (EUR), which avoids conversion on every transaction.
- Age and terms. You confirm you are over 18 and accept the terms and conditions. That tick matters: the terms decide when payouts can be delayed and accounts closed.
- Activation. A confirmation link or code usually arrives by email or text message.
Identity verification (KYC)
Licensed operators everywhere are expected to know who their customers are, so some form of identity check is close to universal. Some casinos ask immediately, others only when you request your first withdrawal. We recommend doing it straight away rather than discovering the requirement when you want your money.
| Typically requested | Examples | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Passport or national ID card | Valid, all four corners visible, no glare |
| Proof of address | Utility bill, bank statement | Recent, showing your name and address |
| Payment method ownership | Card photo with middle digits covered, e-wallet screenshot | Never send a full card number or the CVV |
This is an indicative list, not Spassino's own. Upload documents only through the verification area of your account on the operator's genuine website — never in reply to an unexpected email asking for them.
Protect the account from day one
An account that holds money deserves the same care as online banking. Turn on two-factor authentication if the operator offers it. Avoid saving the password in a shared browser. Check the address bar every time you log in: fake copies of well-known casinos exist precisely to harvest logins. Our page on mirror sites and clones shows how to spot them.
Set limits before the first deposit
The calmest moment to decide how much you are willing to spend is right after registering, before any game has started. Most operators offer deposit limits per day, week or month, and some add loss limits, session reminders or time-outs. Check what Spassino's account settings actually provide. Lowering a limit normally takes effect at once, while raising it often comes with a waiting period — that delay is a deliberate safeguard.
If gambling already feels hard to control, look into self-exclusion. In Slovenia it is called samoprepoved and is filed through the eDavki portal for 6 months to 3 years, nationwide. Free confidential support is available from Gambling Therapy, and Gamblers Anonymous lists meetings. See our self-exclusion guide.
The bonus tickbox
Many sign-up flows or first cashier screens show a welcome bonus checkbox. A bonus is not free money: it comes with wagering requirements that say how many times you must stake the amount, which games count and how fast you have to do it. A worked example: a 50 € bonus with a 35x requirement would mean 1,750 € in total stakes before it could be withdrawn. Spassino's real terms are in its own offer. Our wagering guide explains how to read them, and the bonus overview covers the offer types.
Your first deposit
Once the account is verified and limits are in place, you can fund it. Methods and limits depend on your account — check the cashier. Typical options to look for are Visa and Mastercard cards, bank transfer, e-wallets and sometimes crypto. The deposit walkthrough goes through it screen by screen, and the withdrawal guide covers the way back. A rule that almost always applies: withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, so choose one that works in both directions.
