Bank transfer at Spassino: slow, plain and dependable
A bank transfer is the least exciting method in any cashier and often the most useful one. It rarely comes with instant crediting, but it works in both directions, it leaves a clear paper trail and almost every operator falls back on it for payouts when cards or vouchers cannot be used. For euro accounts inside the SEPA area the mechanics are simple; the details that trip people up are reference codes and names. Methods and limits depend on your account — check the cashier.
A note for readers in Slovenia before any money moves: games of chance there are an exclusive right of the state, offered by concession holders and supervised by FURS. At the time of writing we could not confirm Spassino as a Slovenian concession holder — the Ministry of Finance publishes the list, so check it yourself.
How to deposit by bank transfer
In the cashier, choose bank transfer. You will normally see one of two versions. In the first, the operator shows its IBAN, the beneficiary name and a unique reference; you make the transfer yourself in online banking and must copy the reference exactly, otherwise the payment cannot be matched to your account. In the second, the cashier sends you to a payment page where you log in to your bank and approve a pre-filled transfer — this is how services like Trustly work, and the money usually shows up faster.
- Send from an account in your own name. Third-party payments are routinely returned.
- Copy the reference character by character. A missing digit is the most common reason for a lost deposit.
- Keep the bank's payment confirmation until the balance appears.
How to withdraw to your bank account
For withdrawals the bank transfer is the default route at many operators. You enter your IBAN in the withdrawal form, the request goes into the operator's review queue, and after approval the money is sent via SEPA. Between those two steps sit identity verification, a check that no bonus wagering is still open, and the operator's own processing window. We do not quote a number of days, because only the operator controls that part; once the transfer is sent, SEPA itself is normally quick.
The one rule that matters: the name on the IBAN must match the name on the casino account. Joint accounts can work, but a partner's or a friend's account will almost certainly be refused. More on the payout queue in our withdrawal guide.
| Step | What to check |
|---|---|
| Deposit | Exact reference, own account, euro |
| Crediting | Manual transfers can take longer than instant bank payments |
| Withdrawal | Usually available; IBAN must be in your name |
| Fees | Operator terms plus any charge from your bank |
| Records | Bank statements are the best evidence if there is a dispute |
Why a bank transfer suits careful players
Every euro that goes in and out appears on your statement. That is useful for keeping an honest budget and invaluable if you ever need to raise a complaint. It is also a natural brake: a transfer takes a moment of deliberate action, which is not a bad thing when the product is gambling. If speed matters more to you, compare it with Skrill or a card, but check that whichever route you choose can also be used for withdrawals.
